AHA Moment

The folks over at Mutual of Omaha's Aha Moment Tour came through Winston-Salem, NC a couple of weeks ago. I shared an aha moment of my own.

Find my aha moment here: Kim E Williams' aha moment.

Be sure and click through the rest of the Winston-Salem videos. There are some amazing stories.

Thanks to Jessica, Ben, Natalie and Gary for capturing our community on video.

Holding the Hand of God - an ahamoment

I had two wonderful privileges over the past two days.

1. I got to meet, via an impromptu tweetup, the Crew from Mutual of Omaha's ahamoment tour.

Meet Gary, Natalie, Ben and Jessica (she's the boss). These great folks have the pleasure of touring the nation and listening to and cataloging the powerful and often emotional stories of extra-ordinary people. Their energy is contagious, their patience almost inexhaustible and their smiles electric. The #ahatour team is worth knowing.

2. I recorded my own ahamoment entitled "Holding the Hand of God." Drop back  later this week and I'll post a link to it for you to hear - once it is available and I've viewed it to make sure I didn't say anything too embarrassing  eh.

If you are living in one of the upcoming tour stops, make a point to seek these folks out. Your life will be better.

We had fun!

Aha! Moment Comes to Winston Salem

Apparently the folks over at Mutual of Omaha' Aha Moment campaign are coming to Winston-Salem, NC in June 2011. At least two of us local bloggers have been contacted and asked to participate. So, I guess I'll be joining Kristen over at fourhensandarooster  in the Aha Moment Air Stream to share my Aha Moment - which won't be anywhere near as good as hers...

After I received the email invitation, I wrote back and asked what 'specifically' interested them in hearing from me. They pointed me to a single line in the bio of my website:  "...this stuck out to me - 'Kim Williams believes that who we are begins with what we believe and what we believe is created by what we do every day.'"

Truth is, there is a great deal of life behind those words - maybe even something worth sharing.
